Jake has more than 18 years experience as a drummer / percussionist and 10 as an educator of music. He has a diverse background of musical experience, having played in orchestras, jazz bands, percussion ensembles, funk & soul groups, and much more. He holds a Bachelor of Music, with a specialization in percussion performance from Queen’s University, and is currently obtaining his Bachelor of Education.
With knowledge of the diverse ways students learn, Jake is adept at teaching students with dyslexia, ADHA, and ASD.
Jake charges $26 per half hour.

Rich has a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering and studied drums with Joe Morello and Andrew Cyrille, as well as Jim Blackley and Chuck Burrows. He has performed at the Toronto and Vancouver Jazz Festivals and is currently playing with the Swingmasters. Rich has been teaching music since 1981. He endorses strong fundamentals and developmental of good drumming habits, but also likes to help his students play songs they enjoy and encourages them to perform and participate in recitals.
Rich charges $26 per half hour private lesson.
